Meet & Greet at Heathrow Airport
Are you coming to study in the UK?
Every September and January volunteers are present at Terminal
3 of Heathrow Airport to welcome students coming to the UK from
different parts of the world. Our aim is to help
you find your way around the airport, obtain currency, purchase
travel tickets and generally assist you on the next part of your
journey. We are also happy to put you in touch with our friends
and colleagues, if you are travelling to a university town or city,
where we have contacts. You will be able to recognize the Meet &
Greet volunteers by their bright yellow T-shirts and signs offering
help.
A printed copy of 'New2UK - a guide to life in the UK' and other
helpful resources will be available to you there. The volunteers
will be able to help you with any questions you might have once
you have come through Customs and Immigration. This service is free
of charge.
